Glass Magic

I took my car to Glass Magic, here in Lubbock, on July 16, 2026 to have a 2” crack and 2 rock chips repaired. The 2” inch crack turned into a 11”-12” crack that ran to the bottom of the windshield. I left in a worse situation than when I went in. I understand “disclaimers” but it just seems really unfair and unjust that I am not “whole” and am now “on the hook” to replace the windshield, to what I believe is due to negligence and inexperience. I spoke to the manager, he was polite and honest about what had happened. He refunded the cost of the repair that I had paid, $45. The resolution now is a windshield replacement and recalibration at $700+ ($300+ without a recalibration, which more than likely will not be an option due to what the car requires). I cannot afford a replacement at this time, so it appears I’m stuck with a damaged windshield. I’m not mad, I’m sad and disappointed at what transpired from my visit. It was my first experience at this local shop and more than likely it will be my last. I wrote a review earlier today and it has been deleted. I will continue to post and share this with anyone who will listen.

My husband and I have both had to get chips fixed in the last week, and we are so impressed with Glass Magic! They have the best price I could find when calling my around, and are super fast.

I went in & Nancy greeted me. She was very friendly. Ivan is the one who fixed my rock chip within 10 minutes. I have been going there forever & I will keep going because they are dedicated to getting it done right the first time. Ivan was really nice & helpful! Good job guys!

Upon calling to make an appointment for a new windshield I felt like the manager(?) that I talked to felt completely knowledgeable and helpful. I made sure before I drove from Carlsbad NM to Lubbock that they would also be able to recalibrate my vehicle (2026) I was told yes and it was included in the price originally discussed. Getting to my appointment and asking how long the appointment would take he (the manager?) told me that it would take 45- an hour. I said ok, that if it were to be longer to please let me know. After walking back from a near by store, before an hour was up, I was surprised that my vehicle wasn’t in the bay. We figured they might have had it in another part of the facility. When we walked in, the same guy told us they were done with it and his installer was driving to see if it needed to be recalibrated because he (the manager) didn’t have the software needed to recalibrate (something I had made sure of ) our vehicle because it’s a 2026. I was sure to let him know that he had told me that they did! He said it probably wasn’t going to need it cuz they are driving it around. I told him I was not comfortable driving it 3 hrs home to find out on the road and som

I have had several glass replacements done here. They are locally owned and operated. Their service is fast, friendly, and reasonably priced; often lower than my deductible. This means I save money and don't have to make a claim against my insurance.
